719 Mag Live! Exclusive Interview with Phynal Call Entertainment 6713
Colorado Springs, CO - In the year of 2024 during some of our most humble beginnings as a rising digital publication, we had the honor to connect with a quite a few members of the music community that shared similar visions and genuinely strive to help artists and musicians within the southern Colorado region. One notable entity in Colorado Springs, that has been a huge supporter of 719 Mag, is a music group that’s been putting in work in the 719 for many years collectively..
That entity goes by the name of
Phynal Call Entertainment

Operated and co-owned by husband and wife power couple Lady Hu$tle and G’aod, Phynal Call has become a strong factor in the underground hip hop/rap scene throughout the years here in the 719, putting on countless artist showcases and unique artist performance tournaments and competitions. These events have had some pretty impressive grand prizes and turnouts, to include promotional packages awarded by 719 Magazine.
For decades Phynal Call has continued to make a mark in southern Colorado granting some priceless opportunities for aspiring hip hop, rap and R&B artists (among other genres) to hone their skills on the mic and even assist with these artists’ development, while at the same time, providing a friendly and respectful way to compete with one another, without necessarily having to navigate the politics that usually entail the music industry, particularly within the hip hop culture at times when it comes to these types of tournaments, competitions or versus type battles. Also bringing out some big name appearances including Scorp Dezel, as well as local OG’s and legends to these same events.
I’ve also had the honor to be on the judging panel of some of these unique annual performance competitions, and one of the many things I can appreciate is the depth of categories these artists are judged in, along with some open feedback they can take with them whether they win or not. Through these competitions, not only as a judge or media/journalist, but also a musician myself, I have been able to really get a bit more educated on what an audience would like to see in a live act. Yes, even after 20 years of music industry experience and a degree in Event Production, I still learn something fresh from these type of events. Even more importantly I also have made some very valuable connections within the local music community just being in attendance.
Sometimes just showing up is all it takes.
This past month, I had the opportunity to come to Phynal Call’s home base and mastering studio, engineered and ran by G’aod himself, and get in an #Exclusive Interview with him and his wife Lady Hu$tle for a bit , to really get to know their origins, what’s been cooking lately, and also what’s to come!
Tap in to this in depth exclusive interview:
Now partnered with local media entity Springs Photos as well as others, Phynal Call Ent has been moving forward with momentum this year stepping up their game with multiple events and artist showcases/tournaments planned as far out as September 2026. Among these dope events is also a book-signing by Tameka Todd (Lady Hu$tle) as well as the release of a double-album. Here’s just a few of the events Phynal Call has cooked up for this year In Colorado Springs:
It’s safe to say Phynal Call is in for a busy year in 2026 along with all the artists involved and, we at 719 Mag are honored to continue to be involved as part of some of the judge panels, as well as being able to contribute what we’re able to, to add the grand prizes! 🏆
Let us not forget about Phynal Call’s weekly podcast Real Spill based out of Syndicate Empire Radio, as well as their own show at their home base On The Couch - True Talk which are both growing and bringing some some unique talent, topics and even more special guests based in the 719.

Truth be told, we at 719 Mag have been planning on getting this story out there for over a year and half and by no fault of Phynal Call’s, unfortunately, those things could not yet take place during that time. However since then, we are glad that we could still continue to build a connection as well as building heavily on our own reach, despite our own unexpected setbacks that many small business typically experience in the beginning phases. In retrospect, we are deeply grateful that we are now able to push this narrative the way it needs to be pushed.

I personally would not have been up on some very talented artists in Colorado had it not been for Phynal Call introducing me to them during their own journeys and rises as aspiring artists. Some of these artists include: KO Kelly, Snook B, She Who Won’t Be Named, Fat Loc, Truu Wordz, and several others throughout the 719!

Many may not be familiar with the history, but Lady Hu$tle and G’aod are also veteran emcees here in the 719, so much that she was one of the first female rappers also featured with a prior partner that was featured in The Gazette here in Colorado Springs many years back. During this time she also has opened up for legendary names such as OutKast, Nonchalant, Foxy Brown, and Case here in Colorado.
When it comes to their annual Verztality event series, Phynal Call’s very own G’aod holds the historic title of the very first reigning champion. Additionally he is also assumes his approporiate role as an architect of much of what has been built from the ground up throughout the years. The history and experience shows in their combined consistent efforts year after year. Following their own format, the events being produced serve a clear purpose;
giving the artists involved a purpose.

We at 719 Mag and myself personally as the founder and publisher of this growing publication, wanted to thank Phynal Call Ent and family for their undying support during some of our own professional tribulations and even some of my own personal struggles last year. As I got to know Lady Hu$tle and even G’aod even more, both parents and grandparents and entrepreneurs, we were able to exchange some valuable words of wisdom. I can truthfully say, these are some brilliant people, even outside the music! Because of that type of reinforcement, and during this phase - a decent friendship also evolved between myself and this group of good hearted and hard working people.
That kind of reinforcement is the very reason this magazine continues to exist today. For me, this was never just another story, it was a responsibility I willingly accepted to help bring a story like this to a platform that could offer an entity such as Phynal Call Entertainment 6713 the justice and visibility it truly deserves.
In one of our most recent conversations following the interview, Akema told me, “Stay with us this time.” It was a simple statement, but one filled with compassion and understanding, especially considering the season last year when, amid the weight of grief I was carrying, walking away from everything I have built almost felt like an option for me personally.

Check out Phynal Call’s The Colorado Report which also has me and 719 Mag in their evolving print report/publication that also helps some of these deserving artists and entities acquire some much needed exposure and press. Also stay tuned for their upcoming documentary with the same name and vision, alongside their esteemed partner Springs Photos, who is also assisting with orchestrating this 3 part media project.
Big things on the way for Phynal Call Entertainment!
Thanks for helping to support, push and even introduce some amazing talent to the 719 music community! Big salute from 719 Magazine! 🫡
