Pueblo, CO - The Colorado State Fair 2026 is officially shaping up to be one of the most musically diverse editions in recent years, blending throwback hip-hop, ‘90s pop nostalgia, and Colorado-rooted alternative rock into one stacked late-summer lineup.

Set to take over Pueblo from late August into early September, this year’s fair is leaning hard into crowd-pleasing eras. Among the biggest announcements: Vanilla Ice will headline as part of the high-energy “I Love the 90s Tour,” bringing along fellow hitmakers for a full-on retro party.
Other headlining acts include Tone Loc, Color Me Badd, and C+C Music Factory.
Joining the 154th fair at Southwest Motors Events Center in Pueblo, CO on Sunday, Sept. 6th that same weekend is a Denver-founded favorite, The Fray, taking the stage alongside disbanded Sublime with Rome frontman Rome Ramirez, delivering a more melodic, singalong themed night.

Tickets for both these awesome lineups go on sale Monday 4/13 at 10am at coloradostatefair.com
The programming reflects a deliberate mix: one night built for pure nostalgia and party vibes, the next grounded in emotional alt rock that still resonates across generations.

Beyond those headline shows, the fair continues its tradition of pairing concerts with rodeo programming and large scale arena events, creating a full spectrum entertainment experience rather than just a concert series. From PRCA rodeo nights to monster trucks and demolition derby chaos, music remains the centerpiece, but not the only draw.

The lineup for those August country music live acts include Ian Munich, Dylan Scott, and platinum recording artist Neal McCoy.
For Southern Colorado, and especially fans in the 719, this lineup hits a sweet spot. You’ve got legacy radio staples, throwback anthems, and regional pride all wrapped into one week long run.

Bottom line: whether you’re pulling up for the nostalgia wave or the hometown rock energy, the Colorado State Fair is making sure 2026 doesn’t miss.
