Colorado Springs Record Label Ushers in the Mo Thugs Colorado Family

Let us officially welcome MO THUGS COLORADO!

Colorado Springs, CO - Since the early to mid 2000's, artists and musicians in southern Colorado have evolved with their sounds and the overall essence of the hip hop and rap culture coming out of the 719. It's become arguable that the quality of music within the 719 has become comparable sizing up even to the sounds coming out of cities in the northern part of the state to include, Greeley, Fort Collins, Boulder, Loveland, as well as Denver and surrounding areas.

With more milestones being hit year after year with various accomplishments and accolades from an array of different artists, musicians, producers, DJ’s, execs and even venues emerging within the southern Colorado's music scene, many labels and artists are pushing to level up in an industry that is constantly evolving and changing with the times. One new label/music conglomerate, based in Colorado Springs, CO, 'Illuminated Concepts Music Group' (I.C.M.G.) has been elevating to more than just being contenders, while recently making some serious waves not only in the 719, but both in and out of the boxtstate!

Gaining some traction recently with their ongoing connections and relationships with iconic rap group Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony, I.C.M.G.'s journey in this music game goes much further than just the date of its establishment just last year (May, 2025), bringing not only a fresh brand to the southern Colorado music scene, but also decades of combined industry knowledge and experience to the table, staking a solid claim within music realms of the 719!

As the story unfolds, Boss Bray, also owner/operator of Neon's Barbershop located in Colorado Springs, and his and our long time friend, local music legend, LG Mack, also owner/operator of Longhaul Relocations LLC, a successful moving company also located in Colorado Springs, came to a collective decision after their first successful stadium event Colorado Summer Low Low Block Party @ UC Health Park in the summer of last year (2025) to move forward with their new group Illuminated Concepts, prompting new events, new partnerships and as of recently, reaching new heights.

As with most new business ventures, challenges would inevitably arise for Boss Bray and I.C.M.G. trying to figure what and who works best for a label with so much potential for success, yet with perseverance and maintaining the course, success would surely come and the outcome would be a music group of likeminded artists, some known and seasoned, and some with just the right ingredients, bringing in 2026 with a solid vision and even more clear purpose.

These visionaries now include along with Boss Bray & LG Mack,

& also a few prospects in consideration.

With these relationships came even more opportunities which resulted in an enhancement of their combined connections with Bone-Thugs-N Harmony's legendary subsidiary, Mo Thugs Colorado which in addition, LG Mack had already had a relationship with since the early 2000's. I personally had a chance to witness alot of these dealings with LG Mack & his dearly departed twin brother Tazz (Pinnacle Records) with my own label and music/promo team back then, even traveling together in the same entourages and making moves together back and forth to Denver. I personally have always considered LG Mack a Mo Thugs member even before alot of these new dealings began to arise recently. One of these dealings quarterbacked by Boss Bray directly himself through a longtime media powerhouse Pipeline Network Media, which resulted in a discussion with legendary icon Flesh-N-Bone of Bone Thugs when he was in town for a show at The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs, a few weeks back.

This ultimately resulting into an much needed out of state trip to Detroit, Michigan last week for an event happening with Flesh-N-Bone and Mo Thugs, while getting in some necessary networking which undoubtedly helped put I.C.M.G. in a unique position. Essentially creating a partnership of epic proportions, and a priceless opportunity to bring something home much more valuable than any souvenir, or memento - something big and now officially a part of history for state of Colorado!

It is an honor to announce, Boss Bray's I.C.M.G. is now the home for what is now to deemed MO THUGS COLORADO, representing not only this region but, also the entire state of Colorado!

In retrospect, it's safe to say that Illuminated Concepts Music Group has a promising future to look ahead to with this new deal with Mo' Thugs Colorado, as well as multiple planned releases and events.
