With elevator access direct to the 8th floor, from the moment you step onto the rooftop, you’re greeted with panoramic views of the majestic Rocky Mountains along with the bustling cityscape of Colorado Springs below.
The ambiance Is both warm and inviting with ultra-modern décor that compliments the stunning natural sunset backdrop of Colorado Springs and an unrivaled view of Pikes Peak. Whether you’re visiting for a casual evening or a special occasion, Lumen8 provides the perfect setting.
The seating options are well-arranged to accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger corporate events ensuring comfort and style. The venue features art from local artists with names and descriptions throughout. They also feature a live herb garden when you first walk in that has ingredients they use in their dishes and cocktails. There are also additional greenery art pieces throughout the venue, providing a fresh look.
Reservations are recommended thru Lumen8's website (via Opentable) and as you exit the elevator to the top floor, the welcoming host will inform you that seating is available both indoor and outdoor however, the outside rooftop patio is on a first come, first serve basis (weather permitting). You can also sit at the bar or a table while you wait for a seat outside as well. The outdoor patio views are indeed worth the wait!
The drink menu is also quite impressive, featuring a wide selection of craft cocktails, local beers, and fine wines. Each drink is expertly crafted, with creative twists that make this bar very unique. The bartenders are friendly, always ready to recommend a drink that suits your taste and quick to share a laugh with you.
Lumen8’s head Chef Nick highlights local ingredients, and each dish is thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. They have flavors that are lively and fresh, making it a great spot for food enthusiasts and families alike.
Service at Lumen8 is attentive and professional, enhancing the overall experience. Lani, my waitress, was genuinely welcoming, adding a personal touch that made my visit feel special. She recommended her favorite dishes as well as some customer favorites. Leading me to a delicious fresh market, mouth watering, trout dish that was both delicious and entertaining.
Lumen8 offers live local music on Saturdays and has recently hosted new drag brunch with many live acts currently being booked! This is must-visit destination for anyone in Colorado Springs and a great place for a date.
