719 To Hollywood: KO Kelly Represents Southern Colorado Front Row @ 2026 BET Awards
Los Angeles, CA - KO KELLY no question has been making some major waves since we last sat down with him for his exclusive interview with 719 Mag (see Sept/Oct 2024 Cover Story - KO Kelly Exclusive Interview). This past weekend for sure set the bar as KO brought his wife with him to Los Angeles, CA to take full advantage of all the opportunities present for BET Awards weekend 2026. KO also took some time while in Cali to enjoy some vacation vibes with the family.
Arriving with some of platinum recording artist T.I.’s squad as well as accompanying KO’s friend/supporter Jamie Foxx and even more notable figures in the entertainment world, it’s safe to say KO Kelly @olympian.ko was representing Colorado in the best possible fashion, joining Listening parties in LA and networking with some very heavy names in the music industry. These names include Kehlani, Cardi B, Tobe Nwigwe, Mariah the Scientist, G Herbo, and many more!
KO also came with a purpose, throwing an exclusive BET Awards afterparty in LA @ BeTrue Studios on Sunset Blvd. KO Kelly and fellow artist out of Colorado Springs, $nook B, killed the stage in front of a crowd of music enthusiasts and major industry connects as well as networking with a lot of the industry the entire weekend.

As me and my own wife watched this year’s BET Awards 2026 from home, I could barely maintain my own excitement when I saw the camera cut to KO Kelly a few times seated/standing in the front alongside some superstars like Ray J., Rick Ross, Jamie Foxx, Lauren Hill and countless others.
To witness some of this history take place including a Living Legend Icon award + special Tribute performance by the one and only and amazing Lauren Hill and to also know our dear friend KO Kelly was standing 5-10 away from all of it, was a monumental moment for not only himself, but also southern Colorado.
If I must be truthful, KO Kelly has also been making some heavy power moves as of recently even before his recent welcomed presence at this year’s BET Awards. Just a few weeks back he was spotted rocking some bars and getting a co-sign from hip hop icon Larussell which has recently also appeared on his socials.
Not to mention KO has recently been spotted rubbing elbows with (the real) Big Meech (BMF) and even pulling up to an iconic Bone Thugs N Harmony show Hip Hop on the Hill in Denver, CO last May rocking the mic with some of his squad while also debuting 719’s own UFC MMA champion Elijah “Swift” Smith’s recent music journey which 719 Mag had the honor to capture live on the socials. As a result of that encounter, we also have something possibly exclusive cooked with Swift here in the near future. 👀
Can we say “bridging connections?”
We at 719 Mag had to be among the first to congratulate KO Kelly with all his and his camp’s (AME) recent successes and future endeavors/journeys. Seems the summer of 2026 is looking like a scorcher 🔥 for southern Colorado and the state of the music scene with a lot of monumental changes on the horizon!
Something this massive had to be featured correctly so it was only right to collaborate with Colorado’s own Mile High Minute to assist in getting this the recognition it deserves. Respect to Brenton Saylor and MHM.
