Scoop returns to Manitou Springs for 2 sets of High Country Rock & Roll @ The Armadillo Ranch!!! w/ support from Colorado Springs' own, Sclerotia.

Scoop plays funk & jazz infused rock & roll with intermittent twang, and jam tendencies. Drawing from a diverse catalog of influences, you'll probably notice some inspiration from bands like Phish, The Grateful Dead, Primus, Dopapod, Ween, moe., Lettuce and Umphrey's McGee; but Scoop has developed a unique musical voice that is entirely their own.

Striving with their original compositions to create a distinctive sound while maintaining catchy hooks and phrasing, and building improvisational passages by establishing danceable grooves, patiently building melodies to captivating musical peaks; Scoop skillfully captures the mood and feel of each specific moment, keeping the audience on their feet and shaking their pants all night long.
