New Vintage Jazz is back at Summa to bring you some of the best music from the Funky Hard Bop era as well as modern Hard Bop inspired tunes. We cover tunes from several masters of the genre including Hank Mobley, Lee Morgan, Horace Silver and many others. We will be celebrating the life of Mike Westlakes who was a real jazz lover and was very instrumental in getting the jazz movement started at Summa. This will be a free show.
