About the event
Due to ongoing extreme fire danger, critically dry vegetation, and multiple large wildfires burning across Colorado, the Colorado Springs Fire Department and the City of Colorado Springs have made the difficult decision to cancel all permitted Independence Day fireworks displays scheduled for July 4.
We still plan to host a ROCKIN’ party to celebrate our Country’s 250th Birthday and will still have TWO live bands and 30 food trucks at Vista Park at 8833 Vista Del Pico Blvd in Banning Lewis Ranch.
Because of the high fire danger, we will not allow private grills at the event (you ARE welcome to bring your own picnic), we ask you keep your dogs at home due to large crowds, and the City of Colorado Springs does not allow open containers of alcohol in parks.
